Nu Jazz Entertainment is a Nu label for a Nu Era! Led by Jerald Miller, Nu Jazz was launched in the new millennium to help present the best in jazz music in a manner befitting its legacy.

A long-established veteran of the entertainment business, Miller launched his career in the performance sector, having studied under the auspices of Ellis Marsalis in New Orleans, at the behest of Ellis’ son Wynton Marsalis.

Jerald Miller cut his teeth in the music business working at EMI, RCA/BMG, Sony Music & at Spike Lee’s Film Company—Forty Acres & A Mule. Working with such pivotal music personnel as Lauryn Hill, Steve Stoute, Pharell Williams, Chad Hugo, Wynton Marsalis, Ellis Marsalis, the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Dr. Billy Taylor, and Benny Golson to name just a few Jerald Miller has solidified his position as a leader in the music industry.

"Being one of the only and youngest black men in the jazz industry to manage artists and guide their careers is a humbling experience," Mr. Miller says. "At the same time that my artists have grown, I have as well. There are those who have a misconception about who we are as jazz musicians and what the music is about. Jazz has always been rooted in honesty, simplicity, love, trustworthiness and hard work. Even though we may make Nu Jazz — we will always stay true to jazz." (For More Information see Full Bio)
